KAKO REŠITI ZADEVO
Preveč besed
If potika
po stepah
prostranstva so
mehka in ne
morejo teči
niti ideje
Niso Večne
Koža Vsakega
izmed teh
if wolves
Pod okrvavljenimi noži
Držimo Jih
VSI
HOW TO SOLVE THE ISSUE
Too many words
Circulate
in the steppes
the immensities are
soft and not
can run
not even ideas
are eternal
the skin
of each
is flayed
Under the bloody knives
All of us
we keep them

YOU.
Tudi danes sije sonce na Auschwitz II Birkenau
V takem nedeljskem popoldnevu pri spomeniku
žrtvam
Judje opravljajo spominsko molitev
ko lega tišina na barake in molitve me v želodcu
Zbada Krivda
in veter razpihuje mojo hojo da me nekaj podobno vrvi
Privezani skozi popek vleče nazaj
In ko se počasi bližam izvidnici nočem ven ker
Me iz nje opazuje nemški vojak z neopredeljivim
nasmehom
Stopim čez tire ki ločijo žrelo od vsega ostalega
in mi vrejo solze ki se ustavljajo v grlu
v hipu me prešine misel da je čisto res
kar so trdili
ko enkrat prideš v ta kraj
se iz njega ne vrneš več

YOU.
Even today the sun shines on Auschwitz II Birkenau
It is Sunday afternoon in front of the monument
to the victims
the Jews say the prayer of remembrance
I find myself reflecting that rebellion is
a movement of consciousness
And as I approach the exit
Every step weighs like the ashes of the victims
on our shoulders
The more I walk, the more I realize that there is no exit
The plaque in German makes it known
One million and five hundred thousand died here
Men, women and children
it is the only one immersed in flowers
When silence falls on the shacks
and prayers
Guilt pierces my guts
And the wind ruffles my steps
a lace
from the navel holds me back
Slowly I approach the tower but I don’t want to go out
from above a German soldier observes me
an indefinable grin
through the rails that divide from the jaws
Tears bubble and linger in the throat
Now I know it’s true
when they say
once you enter this place
you stay there forever
